Congratulations on your little one! I am so excited to chat with you and plan a session where every precious detail is beautifully captured and transformed into wall-worthy art for your home. As a passionate and skilled newborn photographer, I specialize in preserving the pure innocence of your little ones, whether in the comfort of your own home, the convenience of my studio, or amidst the wonders of the great outdoors. With an eye for detail and a heart full of love, I create timeless portraits that showcase the unparalleled beauty of your newborn. The newborn photography experience is an intimate journey, filled with tenderness and joy, as we immortalize the fleeting moments of your baby's early days. Regardless of the session type you choose to have, newborn sessions are baby led. This means that we go at your baby’s pace and stop if babies need to be soothed, fed or changed. While newborn sessions are all about capturing all the details of your little one, parents and siblings are welcome and encouraged to join in!

Step One... LET'S CONNECT
Having worked with many families in the last 15 years, I have come to realize that everyone has different needs and visions for their session. I may not be the perfect photographer for everyone, and that’s ok! After you complete the contact form here on the website, I would love to chat on the phone for a few minutes. If you just hate phone calls, we can chat over email or by text, too! This phone call is simply about getting to know each other. I want to hear all about your perfect session so I can make sure I can provide the absolute best experience for you! This is not a sales call. There is no pressure to book. I simply want to make sure you get the experience you deserve, even if it’s not with me!

Step Two... LET'S MAKE IT OFFICIAL
Once we have decided that I am the photographer for you, we will set a flexible appointment for your session based on your due date (or how old your baby is if they have already arrived). I will then send you a contract and an invoice for the $200 creative fee. Once your contract has been signed and the creative fee paid, you will officially be on my calendar!

Step Three... LET'S PLAN
Having a new baby can be stressful, but your newborn session shouldn’t be! Before your session we will talk about colors, themes and all of your ideas. If parents plan to be in the images, we can talk about your wardrobe as well. You will receive a prep guide that tells you exactly what to do before your session and what to expect when your arrive as well. You are welcome to contact me by text or email any time before your session if you have questions or want to discuss an idea.

Step Four... IT'S SESSION DAY
It’s time for your session! Depending on where you are having your session, we will meet at my studio, or I will come to your home. Before the session begins, you will feed and change your baby. After they are all fed, I will get get them all cozy and wrapped. Newborn sessions are baby-led so we will stop if they need to be fed or changed. A little fussing is normal, but if they do not settle quickly, we will stop so they can be soothed. During the family portion, I will give you prompts on what to do so you don’t have to be concerned about how to pose. I love to capture authentic connection and I like to keep everything as relaxed and natural as possible.

Step Five...AFTER YOUR SESSION
After your session, we will book an appointment for you to come back to the studio or we can meet online for your gallery reveal! This is an exciting time and you are welcome to bring grandparents as well. Only after you have looked at all your images, will you choose your products and collection. It’s important to me that my clients be able to view their images before choosing a collection so they are able to purchase everything they love and nothing they don’t! Once you choose your collection and products, I will complete any final edits that are needed and order any products that you have chosen. You will be sent a gallery that contains any digital images that you have ordered. I will contact you once all of your artwork has arrived!
Investment Details
Newborn Creative Fee $200 (Due at booking to reserve your appointment. Creative fee includes photographer’s time and creative talent, use of props, wraps and client closet, and pre-session consultation. Digital images and product are not included in creative fee.)
Digital Collections Begin at $300
Your creative fee is due at booking and is not refundable and secures your appointment time. Because I want you to choose only the images that you are in love with, collections and products may be chosen after you have viewed your gallery at your ordering session.
